Warwickshire Publications is a proud member of The Federation of Small Business and an advocate of their ‘Keep Trade Local’ Campaign.

For many years now I have been a huge advocate of using local businesses and services wherever possible. And before taking over running the magazines two years ago I had often used the Rugby publications to source local trades and services. So when the opportunity came along to take over the business it seemed an obvious step. With many years sales, marketing and advertising experience under my belt, it was a great opportunity to combine all my skills and passions.

Over the last two years I have developed the magazines by growing distribution, changing the size and investing a lot of time to publicising the businesses in the magazines through editorials and special features.

In July 2008 I took over Leamington Now and Warwick Now magazines, which gives the business a great opportunity to offer further widespread advertising to companies within Warwickshire. The magazines continue to go from strength to strength but I am always looking at ways to help more business benefit from them.

An Essential Part of the Local Community

Local trade is an essential part of the community. The high quality service, competitive pricing and personal touch that you get from dealing with local people who run their own business is rarely bettered by the big national companies.

From cleaners, gardeners and builders right through to hairdressers and local independent shops, there are a huge number of people who work hard to provide excellent local services to local people.

My magazines deliver these businesses right into the heart of the community. Landing on over 18,000 door mats monthly, the easy to read, high quality publications are a huge favourite with readers and advertisers alike. Often kept all month by readers until the new one arrives, they offer a comprehensive directory of great local businesses, events, community news and competitions. Compact and glossy they don’t look out of place on people’s coffee tables and their longevity and ease of use mean advertisers get new business month on month.
